Thor Alpino 6 Ton 240v Heavy Duty Hydraulic Log splitter. The splitter works well and I have put in a link below where you can see it working. It is powered by 240v electrics and is very easy and safe to use. To set up the machine you use the foot pedal which operates the blade and brings it down onto the log to hold it, then you use the handles each side to hold the log and then use the levers to control the actual splitting of the log. It has a height adjustable tray for different size logs, and the stroke of the ram can be altered to allow for shorter and longer logs to save time when operating.

One of the handles has been repaired by welding in the past otherwise all in working order. This is a reluctant sale but with the house going up for sale next couple of months we need to make room for downsizing. Please note the splitter is bulky and heavy and you will need a small van / trailer to move it. It is not advisable to place it on its side as the hydraulic oil will all leak out.
