Forestry / general use heavy duty trailer

The main thing that Ive used this trailer for is extracting saw logs from a local woodland. As can be seen from the photo it can load / handle some fairly sizable logs. The U shaped extension enabled a significant amount of lift to the winching height which made it much easier to skid the logs up the ramps onto the trailer. I have however included a 2000 lb electric winch with all necessary cabling and hand controller which could be attached instead. The trailer itself is approx. 5ft by 10 ft and can either be used with the sides on or they detach completely to make it into a flat bed.

When the sides are on the corner latches clamp it all together in a very sturdy manner. The ramps are extremely strong both suitable either for winching timber up or driving machinery up and covered in checker plate.

Using the winch tower you can either winch from the higher point to give some lift or there is a cut out in the front section to allow for a straight pull. It comes with two spares wheels - both in reasonable condition. Also as you can see in the pictures there is a crane arm & base plate which could be reattached if wanted. The arm will extend to approximately double the length shown in the picture. It also was designed so it would swivel.

I tried the ram yesterday and it still seems to pump up but if you were to intend to use it would probably be worth fitting a new seal kit.
